What's the biggest challenge facing your company right now? A prominent business challenge to manage our growth is continuing to build an accomplished workforce. Our growth goals require us to attract and hire talented candidates and develop the current workforce so all employees can grow with the company. It is of the utmost importance to continuously adapt to the job market and find the right people for the right roles.
What strategies are you using to tackle it? By using creative recruiting strategies and communicating our brand story, we are successfully tackling the challenge of finding the right talent. By telling the “work hard, play hard” Hydra-Flex brand story in a way that resonates with future employees, we have found that prospects embrace our founding story and are as passionate as we are about our mission to create measurably better fluid-handling products.
What was the most exciting thing to happen at your company in the past year? In the past year, Hydra-Flex moved its office and manufacturing facility to a larger site in Savage. Our new location is three-times larger than our last, giving us room for growth and future expansion. During the moving process, Hydra-Flex maintained all areas of the company and did not experience a disruption in sales, engineering or operations.
What is your No. 1 priority for the year ahead? Our No. 1 priority is improving our ability to develop current employees at the speed in which we grow. At Hydra-Flex, we believe in the importance of allowing employees to see where their future lies within the vision of the company, and we will formulate paths and set goals to help each employee get there.
