HFI lands at No. 43 on list of fastest-growing Minnesota companies
SAVAGE, Minn. – Each year, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal announces its “Fast 50” list to honor the fastest-growing private companies in Minnesota, and for the seventh year in a row, Hydra-Flex is on the prestigious list.
To be eligible for the Fast 50, companies must start with at least $1 million in revenue and have consistent revenue growth for the last three consecutive years.

Hydra-Flex checked in at No. 43 on the 2021 Fast 50 list thanks to its growth rate of 33 percent from 2018 to 2020. The manufacturer of measurably better fluid handling products boosted its revenue from $20 million to nearly $27 million in that time, and its staff grew by almost 50 percent in those three years.
“Landing on the Fast 50 for the seventh-straight year is a testament to the strength of our team at Hydra-Flex,” said Mike Tonies, Senior Director of Sales. “Our founder envisioned a company built by exceptional people, and that approach has resulted in our development of innovative products and fantastic growth throughout our 20-year history.”
Hydra-Flex’s steady, sustained growth is evidenced by its consistent inclusion on the Fast 50 list over the past seven years. It ranked in the mid-20s each year from 2015 to 2019, and was No. 47 on the 2020 list.
Earlier in 2021, Hydra-Flex was named one of Inc. 5000’s fastest growing companies in the nation and the Midwest region, a Dakota-Scott County Employer of Excellence, and one of Minnesota’s top workplaces.
